APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT #1 TO THE ARCHITECT'S AGREEMENT FOR THE NORTH COUNTY TECHNICAL CENTER PROJECT
Description
The scope of work for the amendment shall include: [1] additional traffic study services at a cost of $56,510.00; [2] additional landscaping services at a cost of $40,800.00; [3] additional work performed by the educational design consultant at a cost of $43,200.00; [4] expansion of architect's fee schedule - (no cost); and [5] basic services fee for Phase I, Technical High School "BBB" will be 5.30% of the sum of the following: negotiated GMP contract, design/build contract for portable demolition/culvert installation & fence work and design/build contract for clear, grub & building pad installation at cost of $833,664.00. The above cited additional services are itemized on the enclosure. The total cost of this amendment is $974,174.00. Funds for this amendment are available through the project budget account.
Recommendation
That Amendment #1 to the agreement dated 10/4/2005 with Schenkel Shultz Architecture for the North County Technical Center project be approved as presented.
